INTERNSHIPS

AIDE is currently seeking interns for the Fall 2010 semester.

How would you like to gain professional experience working on the development of new and existing volunteer and experiential-learning programs abroad? AIDE is a non-profit that provides opportunities that impart personal and professional growth to our participants and benefit the local community from a global perspective.

Internship Description

The Intern will be responsible for the following:

• Organizing and administering competitor surveys and surveys of program participants.
• Assist in buzz marketing campaigns, including creating buzz marketing, creating and updating blogs, conducting market research, and maintaining AIDE's presence on Facebook and other social networking sites.
• Assist in creating presentations on volunteering, interning, teaching and working abroad.
• Assist in updating website content.
• Assist in answering inquiries.
• Assist in creation and editing of program materials.
• Assist in organizing the volunteer/intern/teach/work placements abroad.
• Assist in other administrative duties as necessary.
• This position is unpaid.
• Requires a commitment of at least 10 hours per week.

• Must be passionate about international/cultural exchange and travel.
• Must be a Junior, Senior or have graduated
• Prefer Marketing, Communication, Journalism or Business majors. Design experience welcome.
