Victoria Lynden, Founder & CEO

I dedicate this to my mother Cissi Maillot. She has been the driving force in my life. She has always instilled the true sense of spirit, not only in me, but in everyone she meets. The original definition of Global Community would be my mother’s motto – as she not only spoke of, but her actions showed that everyone is important. It does not matter your race, gender, status – the comprehensive theory is simple – everyone has value, and ADDS value to our life. It is my hope that I and each member of the company can emulate the path of my mother, help you experience life with passion, add value to your life and show you how you can be a light to all those from diverse backgrounds you will encounter.

James Bell, President

Hometown: Airdrie, Scotland

A native of Scotland, he’s traveled and lived overseas for most of his adult life. He speaks fluent Danish, and settled in the USA in 2003.

When he’s not working: trying out new languages – currently “trying” Hebrew.

Never been, but would love to go to: the Australian outback.

Countries visited: way too many to list – every continent but Antarctica.

Heather MacLaren, Managing Program Director

Hometown: Ventura, California

When not working you can find me: beaming with pride over my two daughters, keepin’ it real as a dedicated mom and wife, doing anything outdoors, simply to be outside and sharing the joy of salsa music with my husband on the dance floor.

Never been, but would love to go to: CUBA, Madagascar, Brazil and why not Columbia? Oh, and Vietnam please.
